Frontline Missions and Ministries exists for the purpose of teaching, building and restoring the people of Guatemala, according to the needs of the people we serve.

The culture of the indigenous people must be accepted and it is important to earn their friendship and confidence. It is essential to respect the experiences of the local people as well as those of your fellow team-mates. All team members are expected to share responsibility in the tasks given in the field.

Our initial two-fold plan was proposed and developed (1) to pursue whatever course was necessary to help the Evangelical churches of Guatemala and (2) to contact local Evangelical churches to develop short-term missions teams. 

In following this plan, Frontlines was able to organize three teams: The Evangelical Teaching and Training Team travelled to the mountain area of Tahutla, the Medical Team served in San Marco, and the Construction Team helped to build a missions school in Poptun.

Since the inception of the ministry, we have returned to Guatemala yearly with our teams. For the past seven years we have based our operations in the town of Campur, where we work in conjunction with the pastor of a local church.
