July 19, 2020 - Starting August 9 we will be meeting during our Sunday Morning Service as a Kids' Group. I would like families to ask a few questions to their child about how they felt during the Story. What made them happy, what made them anxious or worried, and have them write down a few words. We will be discussing the Story of The Pilgrim's Progress for the month of August, pulling out Bible passages that we can study.
Here are some conversation starters:
--- The Adventure Begins:
God’s Word is the light that shows sinners to the narrow gate, Jesus Christ, the Savior [John 3:16]
--- Christian Gets Into Trouble:
We cannot be freed from sin by trying to keep the Ten Commandments [Romans 3:23, 6:23]
--- Christian Meets Faithful:
God gives us Christian friends to strengthen and encourage us [Hebrews 3:13]
--- The Pilgrims Enter The Celestial City:
When we are finally home with our Savior, we will sing with joy and praises. [Revelation 5:13]
