II Chronicles 20:12-15
“O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD. Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s." My prayer for all of you; Lord our eyes and our hearts are set on You!! Father you have every answer we need and I thank You for Your amazing grace. You invite us in Your Word to boldly approach Your throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Lord, God we ask for your mercy and grace to help us, over come this enemy, who has come to rob, steal and destroy life. Father we trust You and find our hiding place in the shadow of Your perfect Love. Lord I pray Your provision over every family and I pray Your protection and safety over all first responders and medical workers. Lord I ask for all of Heaven to be open and that You would release Your perfect wisdom over the leadership in our towns, cities, states and country. Father I thank you for You Faithfulness!! In Jesus Name I pray!! Blessings to all! Pastor Mark Good afternoon everyone,
I want to encourage you to find a Bible and read 2 Kings 7; You will find out this is one of the most encouraging and powerful scriptures of the Old Testament. Here you will meet four of the most powerful men in the Old Testament. It’s a story of what happens when HOPE collides with FAITH. In 2 Kings 7 God’s people were in a time of great tribulation and uncertainty. They needed HOPE but there was none in sight. These four men got creative and put action to their Hope!! They had the revelation if all we do is stop, nothing good will happen and eventually we will die. So, on a glimmer of Hope they went! They journeyed across the way, into the enemy's camp in hopes of getting captured so they could eat. What happens to these four guys next on their journey is what’s available to all who are willing to mix Faith with every promise in Gods Word. He (God) shows up and takes our glimmer of Hope and Faith and raises it up to His level of Faith and then releases Heaven on earth. The end result of the four men’s journey was more than they could ever have dreamed of! “And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried from it silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid them; then they came back and entered another tent, and carried some from there also, and went and hid it. Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent." 2 Kings 7:8 Please be encouraged and challenged in this time!! Don’t stop! Keep moving forward in Faith! Don’t lose Hope! Keep seeking Him and You will find Him! Keep asking Him and He will answer you!! I promise you this, your journey will be just like the four men in the story, you will find the Good News! Jesus is alive and His desire is to awaken you to the abundant life He has created for you. Join us tomorrow at 10:30 am for our first ever Live-Stream service. Blessings Fellowship Proclaiming Christ! Good Morning,
My thought for today comes from the Gospel of John 6:63-69: "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” It's in times like this when every sense of routine and daily living has been stripped away from us, when our basic need to interact with one another has been reduce to a formula, that I truly hear the weight behind Peter's cry to Jesus, when he said, "where else will we go?" Consider for a second all that Peter was experiencing prior to his response to Jesus: ***crowds growing in massive amounts... ***Jesus in act of compassion feeds over 5000 people with a little boy's lunch, that Peter helped passed out. *** if that wasn't enough, Peter collected one of the baskets of leftovers. *** Wait - it gets even better - Peter watches Jesus walk on water! *** Then Peter witnesses crowds of people still hungry, getting into boats to come to the other side where Jesus was. Peter at this point has to be feeling pretty good about his decision to follow Jesus! Then comes verse 66: "From that point in time many of His disciples followed Him no more." What happened??? It got personal! Jesus spoke the Words of Eternal Life!! Jesus shared the Good News! Jesus said He was the bread of Life!! Jesus offered an invitation to eat the True Bread of Life! Jesus was revealing His true purpose which was "to come and seek and save the lost!" Listen to Peters cry "where else can I go???" But don't stop there, listen to the rest: "You have the Words to Eternal Life, also I have come to BELIEVE and KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE CHRIST THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD!! FRIENDS: when all the shelves in the markets are finally filled, when all human interactions returns back to normal, when the Stock Market rebounds (praying for all of this to happen) understand this one Truth: none of that can give you the Peace and the Confidence that Peter had in the midst of everything he was trying to process. He knew that his only hope was in Christ! He knew there was no where else to go. It was this revelation that gave him the confidence to stay when everyone else was leaving!!! Trust me in this: the peace, hope, confidence and assurance that Peter had is available to all who are willing to call on the Name of Jesus. Believe me, for 24 years Jesus has been the anchor that has held me. I can honestly say my life has never been the same!! My prayer for all that are reading this post is simply this "that you will allow Jesus to be the anchor that holds you!!" THERE IS A NEW HORIZON COMING!!! Blessings - and I pray you tune into our live stream Sunday!!! |
